I have set up several scheduled backups to archive files from my laptop to a NAS on my home network. As I am at home at irregular times I would like to configure the backup jobs to only start when connection to a specific network is detected - this does not appear to be supported, although other similar features are e.g. 'do not start the backup if the external USB drive is not connected'. The Task Scheduler within Windows uses network connection as a parameter so it is quite an oversight if TI does not, particular given that the nature of the product is to encourage backup to external devices.

I also receive email notifications from the scheduled jobs and it can get quite annoying to keep receiving emails when I am away from home that the scheduled jobs have failed due to the NAS device not being available.

Home Backup Power

Could someone please advise if there is something 'clever' that can be done with the job settings - maybe using the Retry configuration settings - for me to get the best configuration for my needs? I have tried various configurations without success so really all I am looking for is a second opinion in case I am missing something obvious.
